Mainly 2 methods are widely accepted to find the right size of an Eyeglass, The CREDIT CARD method and finding it from the present eyeglasses if any.

Method 1 : The CREDIT CARD method.

The first step in this method is to stand in front of a mirror and place vertically one edge of your credit card at the center of your nose. Then look for the ending point of the other edge of the card.
